Lake Fantasia and its countryside is a little paradise wrought of God, enjoyed by two twenty-five-year-old identical twin sisters and their twenty-five-year-old boyfriends. The sisters—Brick and Mortar Forrest—are cheerleaders, Brick in red and white; and Mortar in in yellow and white. Brick’s boyfriend is Flanders Nickels; and Mortar’s boyfriend is Proffery Coins. All four are born-again believers living mightily for Christ. All four also take care of beloved pets. The Forrest cheerleaders are mistresses to three hinds—a golden hind and a silver hind and a bronze hind—and the hinds are archery experts. Flanders is a master to a pet unicorn, and Proffery is a master to a pet griffin. Lo, trouble comes to paradise, and conflict comes to Lake Fantasia. It is caused by the three hinds—they all three begin to collect arrows beyond reason, and they want from their mistresses more than their mistresses can give them, and they want bigger and better living quarters for themselves.
